JB3 is definitely one of my faves right now – a few of his tunes are on at least 3 of my playlists, and that’s always a good sign . Beyond his unique voice (and his cool ass hair), it’s the attitude and explanations behind his tracks that get at me. He stands for something (love), and it is attributed very prominently through his music. *sigh!*

I been on my Blu ish the past couple of weeks! One of the most underrated MCs out there. I bet he would have good chemistry with J. Cole. Do it up Blu!

Another lagoon that is about a 15-20min drive from my pad. One thing that I LOVE about Victoria, is all the different outdoor chill spots. Even though it’s a public place, you still get a sense of privacy when enjoying the picturesque view. The ocean, clouds, and mountains all feel like they belong to you.
Oh yeah, and I love that I’m still able to wear shorts right now

This past weekend I went back to Edmonton to surprise my ladies. It was one of my most favourite moments ever, their faces were priceless! We ate, we drank, we were hella merry. Although I didn’t get to see everybody that I wanted to, my weekend satisfied a lot of voids/cravings I had (Bua Luang’s Pad Thai & Green Curry with coconut rice, Ling Wok’s Green Onion Cakes, SECOND CUP COFFEE). What was most interesting about this trip though, was I felt like a visiter. Everything was familiar, yet there was no attachment. Where I felt at “home,” was when I was with my peoples. Home REALLY is where the heart is! (I realize I may have exercised that phrase a little too much, but recent situations have made me realize that over and over again)
