Gotta love synchronicities. I was trying to vibe with the universe earlier.. asking for something inspirational. It’s been a tough month, and lately, I feel like I’ve been dueling between two different states: I’m motivated, but feeling lost. I’m stoked on life, but I want more. Oodles and Oodles of “vibes & positive rhythms.” CG usually releases weekly podcasts that are recorded from gigs or just projects that he gets inspired to do. I had a blast at the GZA concert… all the elements of a good hip hop show were alive and present. One of my favourite things in the world is vibin’ out to some genius (heh, pun intended) at a live (preferably more intimate) venue, with like-minded peeps. I could do that every night, forever-ever. Many thanks to Aleph & Blaq for letting me tag along.

Tokin Blaq + aleph = T.B.A…. opening for GZA. The homies have something fresh to offer. Aside from the melodic beats and insightful lyrics, I like how their passion and synergy is the backbone in all that they do. You’ll see. Peep the vid!
